Skippers of Euxton was opened on the 4th of January 2007 by Andrew, Bill and Pat Crook.  They have well over 30 years fish and chips experience, owned several fish and chip shops in the Preston and Chorley areas.   They are heavily involved in the industry trade association, Bill was National President of the National Federation of Fish Friers when he passed away in 2011 and Andrew is has now followed in his dads footsteps and is now National President and also President of the Northwest Area Council.
Where it all began – Friargate Preston – We took over in 1984

The key to doing something well is passion and a desire to continually improve, fish and chips is no exception.  We select the finest ingredients, cooked in filtered oil to ensure we serve the best fish and chips possible.  We only use large fillets of fish cut to individual potions, giving lovely flavoursome, brilliant white fish.

Our potatoes are selected for their flavour and colour to ensure they stay crisp and do not absorb much oil, whilst remaining light and fluffy inside.

We often represent the fish and chip industry in the media, at special events and deliver training both in the UK and abroad.. sign up to this site to keep up to date with what we are up to.
