I attended the British Kebab Awards on Tuesday the 3rd of March. I work with the founder of the awards, Ibrahim Dogus, on the British Takeaway Campaign and it is always great to catch up with him. There were 1500 people in attendance on the night, the biggest awards event I have been to, which took place at the Park Plaza Westminster in London.
This is always a great event, as are all the awards, and its great to sample authentic Turkish cuisine and chat with such hard working and friendly people who all face the same pressures as my own industry.
There were many people there from the worlds of politics and the media.
