This time of the year is the fish and chip exhibition season. The first of these was hosted by Henry Colbeck, a wholesaler that covers Yourkshire and Scotland.
I attend these exhibitions on behalf of the National Federation of Fish Friers to meet members and also try to recruit new ones.
It’s not all work though as the exhibitors get to know each other pretty well… we have done the circuit for a number of years and do know how to party!
We managed a couple of hours on the Royal Mile before heading to the hotel and the pre exhibition meal on Saturday night! I have to say Edinburgh is a great city!
